1. Golden Temple, Amritsar

The Golden Temple is famous for its golden dome. Maharaja Ranjit Singh used about 400 kg of gold leaf to construct the upper part of the shrine.

2. Gurudwara Shri Damdama Sahib Ji, Punjab

This is the place where Guru Gobind Singh took a rest (Dam) after his fiercest battle with the Mughals. It is also known as Guru Ki Kashi.

3. Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, Delhi

This gurudara was built during the sacred visit of Sri Guru Harkrishan Ji to Delhi, where he cured many people suffering from the cholera epidemic.

4. Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib, Delhi

Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib is a historical Gurdwara in Delhi. It holds immense significance for the Sikhs as it was the site of the beheading of Guru Tegh Bahadur.

5. Takht Sri Patna Saheb, Patna

Sri Patna Saheb was built by Maharaja Ranjit Singh. This shrine is dedicated to Guru Gobind Singh ji who was born in Patna in 1666.

6. Guru Nanak Jhira Sahib, Karnataka

According to a legend, Guru Nanak Ji worked a miracle here, creating a spring that emerges from the rock mountain. To this day, crystal clear water flows from here.

7. Gurudwara Paonta Sahib, Himachal Pradesh

This Gurudwara was built in memory of Guru Gobind Singh who wrote the Dasam Granth here. The Gurudwara has a 'Palki' made of pure gold, donated by devotees.

8. Gurudwara Sri Hemkunt Sahib, Uttarakhand

According to the holy Granth Sahib, Guru Govind Singh meditated on the serene banks of Hemkund Lake, where this gurudwara is situated.

9. Nada Sahib Gurudwara, Haryana

It is a famous religious place of the Sikhs. This is where Guru Gobind Singh halted after the Battle of Bhangani in 1688 on his way from Paonta Sahib to Anandpur Sahib.

10. Sachkhand Gurudwara of Nanded, Maharashtra

This is the place where Guru Gobind Singh breathed his last. The Gurudwara contains the mortal remains of the 10th Sikh Guru.
