The Indian 1-rupee note (₹1) is made up of hundred 100 paise as ₹1 = 100 paise. The one rupee note is the only note bearing the signature of the Finance Secretary and not the Governor of the RBI

Rs 5 Note

The Indian 5-rupee note (₹5) is the second smallest Indian note in circulation. The Reserve Bank of India introduced the 5 rupee banknote as part of the Mahatma Gandhi Series in 1996.

Rs 10 Note

The chocolate brown note with Rs 10 valuation measures 123mm X 63mm.

Rs 20 Note

The Rs 20 notes accounts for 9.8 per cent of the total number of currency notes in circulation.

Rs 50 Note

The new note of Rs 50 was issued on August 18, 2017. The Fluorescent blue note measured 135mm X 66mm and had Hampi with Chariot at its back.

Rs 100 Note

Lavender coloured new 100 rupee note was issued on July 19, 2018, with Rani Ki Vav (The Queen's Stepwell- a UNESCO World Heritage site in Gujarat) on its back.

Rs 500 Note

The new note of Rs 500 was issued on November 10, 2016. The stone grey coloured note measured 150mm X 66mm with Red Fort on its back.
