Dharmanath Yadav: A coolie who resides at Patna Station has two armed police bodyguards always accompanying him.
Dharma has been working as a porter at Patna Junction since 1989 and earns nearly Rs 500 a day.
Dharmanath hails from the Bhojpur district of Bihar.
In 2013, Patna experienced bomb blasts during the then PM candidate Narendra Modi's rally in Gandhi Maidan. Before the incident, another bomb exploded at Patna Junction's Platform 10, where Dharma nabbed the fleeing terrorist Imtiyaz.
The NIA apprehended a total of 9 terrorists in this case while Dharma, the coolie started receiving threats from terrorists after this incident.
Following the threats, in 2016, the railway assigned a GRP personnel as his bodyguard and subsequently, a bodyguard from a Bihar Police personnel in 2023.
