Voting is underway in Tripura for 60 assembly constituencies for which 259 candidates are in the fray.
Voting to conclude at 4 pm at 3,337 polling stations, out of which 1,100 are sensitive and 28 are critical.
There are 97 all-women-managed polling booths, 44 PwD-managed booths and 88 Model polling booths.
As many as 31,000 polling personnel and 25,000 security personnel to ensure free, fair and peaceful polls.
Total of 28.14 lakh eligible voters including 13.99 lakh women, 14.15 lakh males and 62 third-gender voters.
There are 94,815 first-time voters, 37,985 voters are aged above 80 and 766 voters are above 100 years old.
The counting of votes for Tripura will be carried out on March 2.
