Mango Lassi

Khus Sharbat

Khus Sharbat is a green-coloured concoction of khus and water. This heavenly summer cooler can provide a lot of health benefits. Soak Khas (Vetiver) in water for 8-10 hours. Then strain it, and add rock sugar to it (as per taste).

Kala Khatta Squash

This dark purple, sweet tangy sherbet is made from the fruit of the blackberry (jamun) bush. This syrup is liberally drizzled over ice lollies, or golas as they are locally called in India. Ice lollies are made of crushed ice granules that are tightly packed together on a wooden stick.
