1. Apply glycerine on your feet to keep them soft, smooth, and crack-free all winter long.
2. A good coconut oil massage will deeply hydrate rough, dry, and cracked feet.
3. Apply petroleum jelly to prevent dry feet during winters. It hydrates and seals in the cracks on dry feet.
4. Soak your feet in warm water to soften the dead skin flakes on the surface and later scrub them off.
5. Use a heel balm on cracked heels. Ingredients in these balms moisturize, soften, and exfoliate dead skin.
6. Use honey as a foot scrub or leave it on overnight as a foot mask. Honey moisturises the skin.
7. To stop moisture loss from the skin and avoid cracked heels, use paraffin wax to lock in moisture.
8. Keep your feet covered. To avoid cracked heels, put on cushioned shoes and cotton socks.
9. Use a pumice stone, or foot file, every day in the shower to remove dry and flaky skin.
10. Drink plenty of water to avoid dry skin and damaged heels.
