Matangini Hazra -

A woman who led a procession of 6,000 women in 1942, demanding freedom from British rule, was brutally killed by the police.

Sukhdev Thapar -

A close associate of Bhagat Singh, who fought against British colonial rule and was executed by the British.

Khudiram Bose -

A teenager who planted bombs to kill British officials and was executed at the tender age of 18.

Chandrashekhar Azad -

A revolutionary who took part in the Kakori train robbery and was involved in the killing of a British police officer, John Saunders.

Rani Gaidinliu -

A Naga queen who led a rebellion against British colonial rule in present-day Manipur, was captured and imprisoned by the British.
