What is Modak?

It is an Indian sweet dish popular in many Indian states and cultures.

Ukadiche/Steamed Modak

Ingredient used- Rice flour, jaggery (grated), coconut (grated), cardamon powder, ghee for kneading and greasing, Water

Chocolate Modak

Ingredient used- A bar of dark chocolate (grated), khoya(grated), sugar, cardamom powder, cinnamon powder, ghee for greasing the moulds, thinly sliced almonds

Fried Modak

Ingredient used -Flour (maida/wheat flour), ghee, a pinch of salt (optional), oil for deep frying, warm water

Diet Modak

Ingredient used- Jowar flour, chopped dates, freshly grated coconut, sesame seeds, chopped almonds, chopped cashew nuts, a pinch of salt (optional), ghee

Mawa/Khoya Modak

Ingredient used- Ingredient usedMawa, sugar, chopped almonds, cardamom powder, milk
