Set aside a square tray that has been lightly oiled with ghee for future use.
Melt the chocolate in a skillet over low heat until it becomes creamy and smooth.
Roast the khoya (mawa) in a separate pan until it is lightly golden brown.
Stir the sugar into the roasted khoya until it dissolves completely.
Stir the melted chocolate into the sugar and khoya mixture.
Press the mixture flat after spreading it evenly into the oiled tray.
After letting it cool, cut it into square pieces. Your barfi is prepared for consumption.
