Start by collecting all the necessary ingredients like cream cheese, sugar, sour cream , butter, blueberries, and vanilla extract.
To make the crust, combine cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of a pan to create a solid base.
In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese with sugar until smooth and creamy. Add vanilla extract for flavour and make sure the mixture is lump-free.
Gently add in some fresh blueberries into the cheesecake filling. These blueberries will add natural flavor.
Once the crust has cooled, pour the cheesecake filling over it, smoothing it out to the edges.
Bake the cheesecake at 325°F for about 50-60 minutes. Turn off the oven and let your cheesecake cool inside for an hour.
For the topping, cook fresh blueberries with sugar until they soften into a sauce-like consistency. Let the blueberry sauce cool before spreading it over the chilled cheesecake.
