Step 1

Start by preparing the dough for your momos. In a large bowl, mix all-purpose flour, a pinch of salt, and water to form a soft, smooth dough.

Heat oil in a pan, and sauté chopped vegetables like cabbage, carrots, onions, and spring onions. Add soy sauce, ginger, garlic, salt, and pepper to season the filling.

Divide the dough into small equal-sized balls. Roll each ball into your choice of momos shape.

Step 4

Place a spoonful of the vegetable filling in the center of each dough circle. Carefully fold the edges.

Step 5

Grease a steamer basket and arrange the momos inside. Steam for 10–12 minutes or until the dough turns slightly translucent.

Step 6

Prepare a dipping sauce using ingredients like soy sauce, vinegar, chili sauce, and garlic.

Step 7

Once the momos are steamed, serve them hot with the dipping sauce on the side.
