A hard or painless lump in the breast area should not be ignored and requires immediate medical attention.
If there is a change in shape and size of either of your breasts, then it needs a doctor's examination.
Any change in the nipples also requires medical check-up.
A sudden swelling under the arm should also be examined. It can be a simple infection also but a visit to a doctor would not harm any.
If you notice a discharge from your nipple area then it is important to get it checked.
If you feel any pain in the breast area, don't panic but visit your GP.
If you spot a redness or feel inflammation on the breast area then it is better to get an investigation done.
