Child’s Pose (Balasana)

Child’s Pose is one of the most soothing yoga postures for stress relief. It relaxes your spine, hips, and shoulders while calming your mind. To do this pose, sit on your heels, stretch your arms forward, and gently rest your forehead on the mat. Take slow, deep breaths and feel your stress melt away.

Cat-Cow Pose (Marjaryasana-Bitilasana)

This gentle flow between two poses helps release tension in your back and improves flexibility. Start on all fours, arch your back upward like a cat, and then dip it downward into a cow pose. Sync your breath with each movement, and you’ll feel rejuvenated in no time.

Forward Fold (Uttanasana)

A forward fold can work wonders for your mood. Stand straight, bend forward at your hips, and let your head and hands hang freely. This pose improves blood circulation to the brain and helps you feel grounded and calm.

Standing Forward Bend with Shoulder Opener

This variation of the forward fold adds a shoulder stretch, making it perfect for releasing upper body tension. Clasp your hands behind your back, fold forward, and let your arms stretch over your head. It’s a great way to relieve stress after a long day.

Legs-Up-The-Wall Pose (Viparita Karani)

This restorative pose is a favorite for instant relaxation. Lie down with your legs elevated against a wall. This position improves blood circulation, reduces anxiety, and promotes deep relaxation.

Seated Forward Bend (Paschimottanasana)

Sit with your legs extended in front of you and reach for your toes. This pose stretches your back, shoulders, and hamstrings while calming your nervous system. Hold the pose for a few breaths and feel the tension leave your body.

Corpse Pose (Savasana)

End your yoga session with the ultimate relaxation pose. Lie flat on your back, let your arms and legs rest comfortably, and close your eyes. Focus on your breath and let go of all worries. It’s a simple yet powerful way to reset your mind.
