Healthy competition is nice and motivating but when friends are always trying to be competitive about every little thing then that is a red flag for you.
True friends don't speak about you behind your back, if they have some issues with you then they talk to you directly instead of spreading rumors about you.
Friends who often ‘forget’ to add you in the plans may indicate that they don’t value your presence. And it may make you feel isolated so it’s better to stay away from such people.
True friends never leave your side, especially in difficult times. If your friends are suddenly ‘busy’ in your tough times then maybe it’s time to change the friends.
If instead of celebrating your success they make weird faces and feel jealous, they are really not your friends. True friends are supportive and celebrate your every little achievement.
Teasing and joking in a healthy manner is fun but if your friends make jokes about the things you are not comfortable talking about then it’s not fair.
If their smiles and compliments feel unreal and fake, It could mean that they are hiding something. Real friends are genuine and honest to you all the time.
If they only need you when they want some favor from you then they are not your true friends. True friendships are balanced and equal from both ends.
