Roasting the Spices

Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan. Add mustard, cumin seeds, chopped chilli and ginger, and saute until fragrant.

Adding Vegetables

Add onion, tomato, grated carrot, cabbage, and capsicum. Stir well. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

Adding Spices & Sauces

Add turmeric, chilli powder, garam masala, cumin powder, chat masala, and salt. Stir in 2 tsp tomato sauce. Garnish with fresh coriander.

Toasting the Bread

Butter 4 slices of bread. Toast them lightly on a pan or toaster.

Assembling the Sandwich

Spread the spicy veggie mixture on one buttered slice. Top with another buttered slice. Cut into halves or quarters.

Warm up with Sauce

Serve the spicy veggie sandwich warm and with tomato sauce
