Prepare Batter

Make smooth a lump-free batter using besan, semolina, yogurt, lemon juice, sugar, salt, and water

Add Eno

To make the Dhokla spongy, add the eno and gently stir it into the batter until it foams

Grease Dish:

Oil should be used to grease a microwave-safe dish in order to keep the batter from sticking while cooking

Microwave Batter

Spoon batter into prepared dish; heat in microwave on high for three to five minutes, or until well cooked and pliable.

Prepare Tempering:

Warm up some oil, then mix in some mustard seeds, curry leaves, and green chilies. Transfer this mixture onto the fried Dhokla.

Cut and Serve

Dhokla makes a great snack; allow it to cool, then cut it into squares, add some coriander on top, and serve it with chutney.
