This is a comfort food in the home of South Indians. Soft idlis tossed in spiced up lentils powder chutney called Podi.
This powder is made with roasted lentils, nuts, seeds and dried chillies. If you can't make this powder you can buy one from the market.
Make the idlis the way you make, try to keep the size small. If it is not possible then you can cut it into half.
After making fresh idlis keep them aside let them cool and come to room temperature.
Take a pan, add some ghee, mustard, curry leaves and add your idlis. Now sprinkle the podi powder on the top and mix them well.
Serve it hot with ghee, podi powder and sambar along with some coconut chutney. Garnish it with coriander leaves.
