Heart Palpitations

If your heart is beating/palpitating fast, it might be a sign of Iron deficiency Anemia. Due to low hemoglobin the heart has to work harder to carry oxygen which might make the heartbeat fast.

Headaches

When the hemoglobin is low, the heart works harder to carry oxygen to the brain, and low oxygen in the brain causes the blood vessels to swell causing headaches.

Pain In Chest

Due to anemia, low oxygen levels and hemoglobin, the heart is not able to get anything properly leading to heart failure.

Cold Hands and Feets

People with anemia have poor circulation of blood which results in icy cold hands and feets.

Exhaustion

Due to low oxygen levels in the body, the blood cells are not able to break down the nutrients and convert them into energy, making us feel exhausted.

Shortness of Breath

When the iron level is low in the body the lungs overcompensate itself to collect oxygen leading to shortness of breath.

Strange Cravings

Due to Anemia, we can develop many strange cravings such as wanting to eat dirt, ice, paper or clay.
