Sabalenka wrote in her Insta post: "Wooow guys…what just happened? I have a fear that this was all a dream and I’m about to wake up."
Sabalenka said that she has a fear that this was all a dream and I am about to wake up. "It’s all still sinking in, but I could not be happier in this moment," said Sabalenka.
Further, Belarus' Sabalenka, who became the first 'neutral' Grand Slam champion because Australian Open did not allow her to play under her country's flag due to Ukraine-Russian conflict, thanked her fans for their constant support.
"Thanks to my team for always been there for me no matter what… I’m proud to call you family!", wrote Sabalenka.
After winning her maiden singles Grand Slam title, Sabalenka would soon head back home as she cannot wait to share happiness with them.
