Unlock your iOS 17 device and locate the Messages app icon on your home screen. Tap on it to open the app.
Once the Messages app is open, tap on the "Compose" icon usually located in the top-right corner. It's typically represented by a pencil or a "+" sign.
In the new message window, you'll see various options including text entry, emojis, and stickers. Tap on the "Stickers" option. This usually appears as a smiley face or a sticker icon.
Inside the Stickers section, you'll find an option to add new stickers. Look for the "+" icon and tap on it. This will prompt you to choose an image from your device's photo library.
After selecting your preferred photo, iOS 17 will swiftly identify the subject and suggest cutting it out. Check the cutout to ensure it aligns with your expectations.
If you're satisfied with the cutout, tap on the "Add Sticker" button. This will incorporate the cutout as a sticker in your message.
Customise your sticker with various effects: tap to select, then apply filters, animations, or text overlays for personalised enhancement after adding it.
