Unlock your iPhone or iPad and locate the Settings app on the home screen. It typically features a gear icon. Tap to open it.
Once in the Settings app, scroll down until you see your name or Apple ID at the top. Tap on it to proceed.
Within the Apple ID settings, you'll find various options related to your account. Scroll down until you come across a section labeled "Devices" or "My Devices."
Among the list of devices linked to your Apple ID, locate the iPhone you intend to remove. Tap on its name to access its specific settings.
Once you choose the iPhone, detailed info like model, and serial number appears. Tap "Device Info" or similar to continue.
In the Device Info section, locate "Remove Account" or similar. Tap to start removing your Apple ID from the chosen iPhone.
Confirm your action in the prompt to remove your account from the device. Once done, your Apple ID will be unlinked.
