As per reports in Fox19, Veronica Williams, received a high heart rate notification on her Apple Watch that prompted her to seek help from her doctor, during her pregnancy
Williams witnessed shortage of breath and received numerous high heart rate alerts on her Apple Watch
She then called her doctor, who advised her to go to the emergency room
She was then advised by the doctors for an emergency c-section and the baby was safely delivered
Williams was diagnosed with a rare form of myocarditis, a condition in which her immune system was attacking her own heart as something that was external and led to her hospitalisation for a month
