Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud announced the launch of the New Murabba, the world's largest modern downtown.
The downtown will be completed in 2030 and is expected to generate 180 billion Saudi Riyals ($48.6 billion) to non-oil GDP.
The project will cover an area of 19 square km and will feature iconic museum, a tech and design university, an immersive multipurpose theater, and more than 80 entertainment and culture venues.
The New Muraba will offer all facilities within a 15 minute walk. The city will have 9000 hotel rooms and will create 334000 jobs.
New Muraba will have high street innovation lab experience centre, University Plaza, Theater, Opera, Museum and Concert hall among others.
