At the age of 16, Rizwan Sajan, the founder of the Danube and a successful businessman, faced the loss of his father. As the eldest among three siblings, the now 55-year-old Rizwan took on the responsibility of securing the financial well-being of the family.

To sustain his family, Rizwan Sajan initiated his professional journey as a street vendor, selling books and stationery. Additionally, he took on the role of a milk delivery boy to supplement his income.

Despite challenges, Rizwan Sajan persevered and exerted considerable effort to establish the Danube Group in 1993. By 2019, the group boasted an estimated annual revenue of USD 1.3 billion.

The Danube Group manages diverse portfolios, including an infrastructure company, a real estate company, and a building materials company.

Upon reaching the age of 18 in 1981, Rizwan Sajan received a significant career opportunity from his uncle in Kuwait, marking a pivotal moment in his development.

As a sales trainee in Kuwait, he earned a monthly salary of Rs 18,000 or 150 Kuwaiti dinars.

His current networth is estimated to be around 20 Thousand Crore rupees.
