It is believed that Wolves were first originated from East Asia around 15,000 years ago. They are mostly wound in Western Europe, USA, Japan and Mexico.
There are a total of three species of wolves in the world. They are Grey Wolf (also known as the common wolf), Red Wolf and Abyssinian Wolf. These three species have their own sub-category.
The average Height of Wolves is 85-100 cm and weight is around 23-45 Kgs.
The Wolves currently are in an endangered or vulnerable status in some regions. They were marked endangered in the US but were removed from the Endangered species in October 2020.
Wolves always travel in a pack. They communicate with each other through Facial Expressions. They also pair for life, i.e., they are loyal to their partners.
There are myths such as Wolves kill for fun etc. but wolves are on the brink of nutritional deficiency, i.e., not getting enough nutritions and fat to keep themselves warm in cold weather.
The largest breed of wolves is the Mackenzie Valley Wolf weighing 80-145 pounds and the smallest breed is the Arabian Wolf weighing 45 pounds.
