New Delhi: Google on Saturday celebrated the 306th birth anniversary of Charles-Michel de l'Epee, father of the deaf, with an interesting animated Doodle.

Charles was a philanthropic educator and founder of the first public school for the deaf.

He was born on November 24, 1712, and died on December 23, 1789, at the age of 77.
