Is Pakistan`s Babar-3 cruise missile launch fake?
The latest test by Pakistan came days after India tested its indigenously developed intercontinental surface-to-surface nuclear-capable ballistic missile Agni-V.
New Delhi: Pakistan on Monday announced firing its first submarine-launched nuclear-capable cruise missile with a 450 km range.
In what could rip apart Pakistan's claim of achieving a major scientific milestone, an analyst on Tuesday said Islamabad may have faked the launch of Babur-III, a sea-based variant of Ground Launched Cruise Missile (GLCM) Babur-II.
The latest test, in the Indian Ocean, came days after India tested its indigenously developed intercontinental surface-to-surface nuclear-capable ballistic missile Agni-V.
Defence and satellite analyst, 'Raj', showed technical evidence to Times Now to suggest Pakistan faked the missile video and used computer graphics to depict much of the weapon's flight.
Meanwhile, The Times of India has quoted a Mumbai-based 'analyst' as claiming on Twitter that Pakistan used an image of the missile, generated by computer, to show that Babur-III launch was successful.
The test was witnessed by the country's top military leadership.
