New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi had asked public to participate in a survey on Narendra Modi App where 10 questions, with various options, have been posed with regard to scrapping of old Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes.
The Modi App within a couple of days, has topped Apple's App Store while it is one of the most popular apps on Google Play.
It was also the most trending topic on Apple store two days back. Meanwhile, if you go to the top charts free section, Modi app on top of all the apps.
On Google Play too, the Modi app is one of the most popular apps.
As opposition escalated its attack over demonetisation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi early week reached out to people directly for feedback by asking the public to convey their views to him via his App by answering a set of questions.
More than 93 percent of the five lakh people who participated in a survey on Narendra Modi App have supported demonetisation.
More than 93 percent people support the move to demonetize the old 500 and 1000 rupee notes, it said. Of the over 5 lakh responses so far, only 2 per cent have rated the move as 'very poor' or 'one star', the survey result said.
More than 90 percent of the respondents feel the government's move to tackle black money is above four-star rating, the survey result says. 73 percent of them give it five-star rating of 'brilliant'.
On the overall fight against corruption, more than 92 percent of respondents either rate the government as 'very good' or 'good' while 57 percent of them rate the fight as 'very good'.

"As high as 86 percent people believe that some so- called anti-corruption activists are now actually batting in support of black money, corruption and even terrorist financing!", the write-up said.
