Wow! WhatsApp to offer selfie flash, doodling tools soon

New Delhi: Capturing dull selfies through WhatsApp's built-in camera in poor light will soon become the thing of past. The latest beta version (2.16.264) of the Android app of the messenger chat has introduced a selfie flash.

The update has also introduced Snapchat-like feature to doodle on top of photos, adding on to the fun quotient of sharing pictures. However, the doodling works only when one uses the WhatsApp's inbuilt camera, and not while sharing photos in the attachment button. The feature is in in a testing stage and is expected to rollout to public version in a few weeks
