New Delhi: Three Chinese naval warships have arrived in the Pakistani port city of Karachi on a four-day "goodwill and training" visit, media reports said on Sunday.
The visit will "further promote mutual trust and boost cooperation and friendship," fleet commander Shen Hao was quoted as saying.
"The pragmatic cooperation and communication between the two navies will be further strengthened so as to contribute to regional stability and world peace and play an active role in promoting common development," Hao said.
Pakistan's navy chief said the PLA fleet would enhance maritime collaboration.
During their stay in Karachi, both sides will interact with each other and discuss "subjects of mutual interest", a media report said.
