New Delhi: Ace India shuttler PV Sindhu on Thursday shuttled to her career best ranking of five in the Badminton World Federation (BWF) Women's singles list.

The Rio silver medallist was previously ranked sixth, behind Ratchanok Intanon of Thailand, whom she dethroned to acquire the fifth spot.

Saina Nehwal is the other Indian to feature on the top-10 list. The 2012 bronze medallist remained in her position at number nine.
