After Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirahua's Border controversy, Khesari Lal Yadav's interview rocks Bhojpuri film industry

Mumbai: After Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirahua's Border movie row, an interview of Khesari Lal Yadav has stirred fresh controversy. It has divided the Bhojpuri film industry with one group supporting the superstar and the other slamming him for his remark.

A small video clip of Khesari had surfaced which showed him saying that the Bhojpuri industry is nothing without him and his contemporaries Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirahua and Pawan Singh. This has drawn flak and actresses such as Anjana Singh and Gargi aka Priyanka Pandit have condemned Khesari for the statement. 

Khesari, on the other hand, claims that his comment has been misconstrued and he has been quoted out of context. He took to his Facebook to share a video to clarify his stance and urge people to watch the interview in its entirety to know what he actually said.

In fact, the journalist who interviewed Khesari also shared the video of the interview to prove that the superstar is innocent and doesn't deserve brickbats.

Khesari is one of the most bankable stars in the Bhojpuri film industry. He delivered a blockbuster in the form of Dulhin Ganga Par Ke recently. He has quite a few big projects in his kitty and the list includes Nagdev, Sangharsh, Dabang Sarkar and Raja Jani.

Khesari bagged the Best Actor trophy at the Bhojpuri Cine Awards 2018  for his performance in Mehendi Laga Ke Rakhna which released last year.
