New Delhi: Bhojpuri superstar Pawan Singh has enthralled the audience yet again with his recent released 'Loha Pahalwan'. The film, which was released across Bihar and Jharkhand recently, has received a massive opening and has been running housefull in theatres.
Pawan Singh is seen as a tough cop avatar in the film who clenches his fists to rough up villains. He is also seen doing wrestling in some of the sequences. Debutante Payas Pandit, who is making her entry into the Bhojpuri film industry with 'Loha Pahalwan' is playing the female lead.
Interestingly, 'Loha Pahalwan' bears a strikingly similarity with Salman Khan's 'Sultan'. Not many know that the film was give a U/A certificate without a single cut by the censor board.
'Loha Pahalwan' is a high action drama and is helmed by Iqbal Baksh. It also features Sushil Singh Payas Pandit, Prakash Jayas, Dev Singh Deepak Sinha, Pushpak Chawla, Glory Mohnta and Seema Singh in pivotal roles. Written by Prakash Jayas, the film has been presented by Lakshmi Ganpathy Films & Nishad Production Presents under the Nishad Productions banner.
Pawan Singh hails from Ara in Bihar. He has featured in several hit Bhojpuri films such as 'Devra Bada Satawela', 'Bhojpuriya Raja' etc to name a few. He rose to fame with superhit song 'Lollypop Lagelu' which became a rage after its release. In 2016, he was Pawan was honoured with the Best Male Singer in the International Bhojpuri Film Awards.
