NIT Patna student, who bagged a lucrative job offer, commits suicide
Surender had been picked up through campus selection by a reputed IT company.
Patna: A final-year B.Tech student of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) here allegedly committed suicide in his private lodge on Wednesday, police said.
Surender P Parthi, an Information Technology (IT) student from Karim Naagar in Telangana, was found hanging from the ceiling fan of his room in Mahendru locality, close to the Institute.
Surender had been picked up through campus selection by a reputed IT company.
According to the preliminary investigation, Surender was very tense on Tuesday evening while talking to a colleague on the mobile phone.
He was also seen watching TV till late into the night by his neighbours.
Parthi's family has been informed about the shocking incident, the police said.
