New Delhi: Sidharth Malhotra - Manoj Bajpayee starrer 'Aiyaary' that released on February 16, had a rather disappointing opening on Day 1. And now, the latest updates state that it didn't fare well during the weekend as well.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the total numbers. He wrote, "#Aiyaary fell flat on Sun... Growth in biz was missing... Weekend biz is lower than #AGentleman [₹ 13.13 cr] and #Ittefaq [₹ 16.05 cr]... Overall, lacklustre... Fri 3.36 cr, Sat 4.04 cr, Sun 4.30 cr. Total: ₹ 11.70 cr. India biz.

Interestingly, the film did reasonably well in the international market. Confirming the gross earnings, Adarsh tweeted on Saturday, "#Aiyaary has fared comparatively better Overseas... Day 1 total stands at approx $ 417,000 [₹ 2.68 cr]…
Was best in UAE-GCC: Thu $ 97,000, Fri $ 137,000
#NaamShabana was approx $ 336,000 on Day 1 in international markets."
Directed by Neeraj Pandey, Aiyaary, inspite of having a stellar star cast including Naseeruddin Shah, Anupam Kher, Kumud Mishra, Adil Hussain and Vikram Gokhale failed to weave magic at the box office.
