Ankita Lokhande shares a glimpse of Jhalkaribai from Manikarnika

New Delhi: Bollywood 'queen' Kangana Ranaut is currently busy shooting for her next big project Manikarnika: Queen Of Jhansi. Some time back we saw how pictures from the sets went viral on the internet and fans couldn't stop gushing over it.

Now, popular television actress Ankita Lokhande will be seen making her big screen debut in the film and she took to Instagram and shared a glimpse of her character Jhalkaribai.

Although the picture is hazy, you can still guess that she is playing a fierce role in the flick. She captioned the image: “jhalkari bai definitely knows the way to even a modern man’s heart! #Manikarnika @vaibhav.tatwawaadi #ItsBlurForAReason #jhalkaribai.”

Another actor in the picture happens to be Vaibhav Tatwawaadi, who will be playing a character named Puran Singh in the film. Manikarnika is based on the life of Rani Laxmi Bai of Jhansi and will present her story and struggles.

It is being helmed by Krish and produced by Zee Studios in association with Kamal Jain and  Co-Produced by Nishant Pitti of EaseMyTrip. The film will release on April 27, 2018.
