After packing a punch in the box office with sports drama 'Mukkabaaz', Anurag Kashyap's next endeavor is Saif Ali Khan starrer 'Sacred Games' which is the first Indian web series to be released on Netflix.
Netflix has released the first look of the characters of the series on Twitter today.

In the pictures shared by Netflix, Saif dons the look of a Sikh police officer, while Radhika Apte is seen in a pensive mood and Nawazuddin Siddiqui looks straight into the mirror, flashing a villainous smirk. All three characters look engaging in their own way.
While an official release date is yet to be finalized, sources close to the show told a leading daily that Netflix is eyeing to release the show somewhere around June 2018. As per the sources, the first season will feature 8 episodes, 4 of which have been directed by Kashyap and the rest four by Vikramaditya Motwane, the director known for his stellar works like Lootera and Trapped.
Saif Ali Khan plays the cop Sartaj Singh, Nawazuddin Siddiqui comes across as gangster Ganesh Gaitonde and Radhika Apte essays a RAW analyst Anjali Mathur.
The cast also includes Rajshri Deshpande of S Durga fame in a pivotal role.
