New Delhi: Scene at the Bollywood Box Office was pretty intense this weekend. On one hand where 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' is showing no signs of slowing down, two new films - 'Hindi Medium' and 'Half Girlfriend' – tried their best to attract the audience to the cinemas.
In the race between two recently released flicks, the Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor starrer has left Irrfan Khan's film far behind in terms of business. "#HindiMedium goes from strength to strength with each passing day... Fri 2.81 cr, Sat 4.25 cr, Sun 5.50 cr. Total: ₹ 12.56 cr. India biz," movie critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.
He further posted on the social media, "#HalfGirlfriend has a GOOD weekend... Fri 10.27 cr, Sat 10.63 cr, Sun 11.14 cr. Total: ₹ 32.04 cr. India biz."

Both the films released on May 19 this year. While the Mohit Suri directorial is said to be a love story of epic proportions, the Saket Chaudhary directorial takes a funny but thoughtful dig at India's education system.
