Kangana Ranaut's Panga first schedule wrapped up

Mumbai: The first shooting schedule of Kangana Ranaut and Richa Chadha starrer 'Panga' has been wrapped up. Filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, who is directing the film, shared the news on Twitter with a photograph of the entire crew of the film. He captioned the photos as, "And this love will only continue to grow as we wrap our first schedule. 'Panga'.

Tiwari, who announced the news of the project in August, has films like 'Nil Battey Sannata' and 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' to her credit.

Featuring stars like Kangana, Richa, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi and Jassie Gill, 'Panga' revolves around female kabaddi players and the trials they face. According to reports, Kangana will be seen in the role of a Kabaddi player in the film.

The first schedule of the film began last month and the shooting was done in Bhopal. This is the first time that Richa has collaborated with Ashwiny; whereas this is her eighth film with Pankaj Tripathi. They had starred in movies like 'Gangs of Wasseypur' and 'Masaan'.

'Panga' will be about a family who challenges stereotypes and dare to dream. Kangana will be paired opposite Jassie Gill.
