Namastey England: Arjun Kapoor to replace Akshay Kumar?

Mumbai: Akshay Kumar stole a million hearts by essaying a true desi munda in Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s ‘Namastey London’ way back in 2007! Speculations were rife that the filmmaker was keen to do a sequel titled - Namastey England’. However, Akshay may not be a part of it.

According to a report in Mid-Day, Akshay has a number of films in the pipeline and may not be able to spare dates of Shah’s film. Moreover, the filmmaker is keen to start working on the film at the earliest so Arjun  Kapoor may step into the shoes of Akshay.

At present, Akshay is gearing up for the release of ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ which is slated to release on August 11. He has ‘2.o’, ‘Padman’, ‘Mogul’, and (Salman Khan and Karan Johar’s debut joint venture based on the Battle of Saragarhi) in his kitty.

Will Akshay’s loss be Arjun’s gain?
