New Delhi: Khiladi Akshay Kumar is one of the most bankable stars around with a certified success ratio as far as Box Office numbers are concerned. This year was a great one for him with films such as 'Jolly LLB 2' and 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' doing extremely well and raking in the huge moolah.
The National Award winning actor has his calendar booked for the coming year as well. Earlier this year, he announced his upcoming projects 'Gold', 'Padman' and '2.0' which will again make Akki fans happy.
'Padman' is based on the real-life incident of Arunachalam Muruganantham—the man whose initiative to invent low-cost sanitary pad making machines in rural India helped not only his wife but other women in his village to lead a hygienic life.
The superstar took to Twitter a sneak-peek video where he reveals when the 'Padman' trailer is coming out. Keeping the trailer buzz alive, Akki revealed that the 'Padman' trailer will be launched on December 15, 2017.

The film will be produced by Akki's better half Twinkle Khanna, making it her maiden production venture and will be helmed by R Balki. Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte will play important roles in the film.
Interestingly, Twinkle had mentioned about the story of 'Padman' aka Arunachalam in the final short story titled ‘The Sanitary Man from A Sacred Land’ in her second novel ‘The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad’.
'Padman' is hitting the screens on January 26, 2018.
