Padmavati: Deepika Padukone has been paid THIS much for the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film?

Mumbai: Deepika Padukone found a mention on Forbes' 2016 list of the 'World's Highest-Paid Actresses’ and was named among international celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence, Julia Roberts and 'Friends' star Jennifer Aniston. And her rumoured pay package for Sanjay Leela Bhansali proves why she featured on the list!

According to a report in Mid-Day, Deepika, who is busy with SLB’s ‘Padmavati’ has been paid a whopping Rs 12 crore for the film! She has apparently devoted all her time this year for shooting the magnum opus and hence been paid such a huge fee!

The period film based on one of the greatest events in Indian history also stars her rumoured beau Ranveer Singh as the antagonist and Shahid Kapoor as the hero. The former will essay Alauddin Khilji while the latter Rawal Ratan Singh, a Rajput.

The big-budget mega-project is slated to release on November 17.

Deepika has had a string of blockbusters to her credit - from ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’ to ‘Chennai Express’, ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela – Ram Leela’ to ‘Happy New Year’, ‘Bajirao Mastani’ to ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’ (her debut Hollywood film).
