Mumbai: If the latest buzz is anything to go by, then Salman Khan is on board the third instalment of super-hit franchise ‘Race’. However, the film will have Remo D’Souza and not Abbas-Mustan as the director, report suggests.
According to a report in India.com, originally attributed to DNA, producer Ramesh Taurani was keen to have Salman in the third instalment of the film which had Saif Ali Khan in the previous two editions.
Interestingly, the new instalment won’t have Abbas-Mustan duo as director, who had helmed the first two editions of the film.
The first instalment starring Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Anil Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif and Sameera Reddy, had released in 2008.
The second one starring John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez and Aditya Pancholi besides Saif and Anil Kapoor hit the screen in 2013.
And now that Salman is reportedly on board, wonder who all will be a part of the star cast!
