Salman Khan won't romance Jacqueline Fernandez in 'Kick 2'?

New Delhi: Superstar Salman Khan has a packed schedule for the next two years. His calendar includes films like 'Race 3', 'Bharat' and 'Kick 2'. Recently, Nadiadwala Grandson announced the sequel to 'Kick' on Twitter.

The makers tweeted about 'Kick 2' starring Salman Khan in the lead. But nothing about the female lead has been announced. Now, according to BollywoodLife.com, Jacqueline Fernandez will not be seen in 'Kick 2'. Yes! The actress won't be seen reprising her role from the original.

The report quotes a source as saying, “Jacqueline Fernandez will not be a part of Kick 2, however, this is not because of any issue between anyone, but because the story is completely different. Jacqueline’s track ended in Kick. In fact, Kick 2has a completely new plot and character, hence Sajid Nadiadwala and his team decided to cast a new leading lady. They’ve shortlisted a few names and should make an announcement soon.”

'Kick' was helmed by Sajid Nadiadwala and it was his debut as a director. The film did incredibly well at the Box Office.
