New Delhi: Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan, who signed Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath, is in jeopardy after the makers had a fallout recently.
Things had turned from bad to ugly between Abhishek Kapoor aka Gattu and producer Prernaa Arora from KriArj Entertainment after the two accused each other of unprofessional behaviour. Things took a turn for the worse, when Prernaa dragged Abhishek to court, alleging breach of contract.
However, as per the latest report, the two have patched up with each other and if reports are to be believed, the second schedule of film 'Kedarnath' will resume later this year.
While 'Kedarnath' may have been hit with troubled water, Sara Ali Khan has managed to catch the eyes of filmmakers as the young lad has been flooded with umpteen offers already.
As per a report in Deccan Chronicle, Sara has been offered the remake of Rahul Rawail's 'Betaab'. The original, which released in 1983 marked the debut of Sara's mother Amrita Singh alongside Sunny Deol. Interestingly, 'Betaab' was also the debut film of Sara's mother Amrita. If things go as planned, Sara will feature in the remake alongside Sunny Deol's son Karan Deol.
Sara is also in contention for Rohit Shetty's 'Simmba' opposite Ranveer Singh. 'Simmba', which is slated for December 28 release, is yet to finalise on a female lead. Notably, Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor was earlier finalised for the movie opposite Ranveer.
'Simmba' is a remake of the Telugu action film 'Temper'.
Sara was also offered a meaty role in 'Bulbul' to be produced under Anushka Sharma's home banner Clean Slate Films. However, as per the report, the star kid couldn't sign the dotted line as she was bound by a contract with the producers of her maiden venture 'Kedarnath' and was not allowed to sign any project before her first film releases.
As per DNA, Sara may have to seek a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the makers of 'Kedarnath' before she hops onboard any other train.
