Mumbai: The desi version of 1982 Hollywood blockbuster ‘Rambo’ starring Sylvester Stallone is on the anvil. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the Bollywood remake of one of Hollywood’s most successful franchisees will star Tiger Shroff. And if the latest buzz is anything to go by, then Sly, the man himself may make a special appearance in the film.
According to a report in DNA, Nadiadwala is apparently in touch with the legendary actor, who had made a million hearts skip a beat with his sweltering personality. Sly had done a cameo for the producer’s ‘Kambakkht Ishq’ in 2009, a film starring Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor.
“Sajid is still in touch with Stallone and is thinking of approaching Stallone to do a cameo in Tiger’s tale,” DNA quoted an insider as saying.
Tiger, son of veteran actor Jackie Shroff has emerged as one of India’s finest action heroes. He is thrilled about the fact that he will be reprising the role originally essayed by none other than Sylvester Stallone in the Indian version of ‘Rambo’.
