Daniel Radcliffe to play doctor in TV drama

London: ‘Harry Potter’ star Daniel Radcliffe is all set to play a doctor in a yet-to-be-titled TV drama about Russian doctors in World War I.

The project will also star Jon Hamm, who will play the older version of Radcliffe`s character and will appear in his later years in the four-part drama, reported Sun online. "This is a great role for Daniel and he`s pretty excited about the prospect of working with Hamm. He`s a big `Mad Men` fan and feels he can learn a lot from Hamm," a source said. "But he knows all about Daniel`s qualities, too, so he`ll also be doing some learning," the source added. The series will incorporate some dark humour as the doctor attempts to overcome self-doubts about his competence. PTI
