Auto Expo 2016 day 2: Premium truck, electric bus, Mahindra XUV Aero unveiled

The Delhi Auto Expo 2016 day 2 kicked off with the unveiling of Scania's Premium Truck G310, JBM Auto's launched 100 percent electric bus ECOLIFE and Mahindra XUV Aero Concept.

New Delhi: The Delhi Auto Expo 2016 day 2 kicked off with the unveiling of Scania's Premium Truck G310 while JBM Auto launched 100 percent electric bus ECOLIFE at the Expo.

Speaking during the launch, Nishant Arya, Executive Director of JBM Auto said that ECOLIFE will revolutionise the intra-city transport.

Mahindra launched its XUV Aero Concept which is 4600mm long, 1890mm wide and 1680mm high. The car's engine is powered by a 2.2-litre mHawk engine churning out maximum power output of 197bhp.

The major anticipated launches of the day will be Maruti Ignis, Mahindra SsangYong Tivoli and Renault Duster facelift.

Day one of the show saw 51 new products making their debut, with Bollywood celebrities, including Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor, along with sportstars Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli adding to the glamour quotient.

The show, jointly organised by SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers), ACMA (Automotive Components Manufacturers Association) and the Confederation of Indian Industry, will be opened for public from February 5-9.
