New Delhi: It was a double delight for South Korean automaker Hyundai as its SUV Creta won two big awards at the ongoing Auto Expo 2016 in Greater Noida near Delhi.
Hyundai Creta was awarded both the 'Car of the Year' and 'SUV/UV of the Year' titles at the Times Auto Awards 2015 powered by Zigwheels.
The company first announced winning the 'SUV/UV of the Year' on its official Twitter handle.

This was immediately followed by the announcement of winning the 'Car of the Year' award too.

As per reports, Creta beat the likes of SUV like the Mahindra TUV300, Chevrolet Trailblazer and MPV Renault Lodgy to emerge the winner.
Hyundai Creta is easily one of the most popular SUVs in the market right now. A week before its debut in the Indian market, it had received a pre-order of 10,000 units.
And what is interesting is that, with this Indian Car of the Year (ICOTY) to Creta, Hyundai hits a hattrick having won the award earlier in 2014 for Hyundia i10 Grand and in 2015 for Hyundai i20 elite.
