Mumbai: It has already created a record of sorts by raking in Rs 32 crores on its opening day. And as Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ continues to make new records, news has it that the makers of the film - Yash Raj Films - are contemplating about making a sequel.
The industry has been speculating whether YRF is planning a sequel of ETT ever since the production house registered two titles ‘Ek Hai Tiger’ and ‘Ek Rahega Tiger’.
While the film has been getting a mixed response from the audience as well as the critics, the makers are hopeful that the collection of the film is going to be good. “With the long weekend coming up along with Eid, collections are like to increase. But right now, it’s still a long way to go to touch the Rs 150 crore mark,” said a trade analyst.
The makers, of course, are keeping mum about the sequel as it is too early to talk about it since the film just released three days back. But considering Salman’s popularity, the film may just earn Rs 200 crore at the Box Office.
